Laura Coleson-Schreur - Licensed Acupuncturist
Laura has over 25 years experience in the health care field as a nurse,
researcher, and acupuncturist. She received a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
from Northeastern University, a Master's degree in Public Health from
John Hopkins University, and a Master's degree in Acupuncture from The
Traditional Acupuncture Institute. She is National Board Certified in Acupuncture
and is also a Certified Animal Acupuncturist. Laura has been practicing
acupuncture for more than 10 years and has worked overseas as a nurse
in Africa and Asia as well as on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. She
has a loving husband, a teenage son, two young twin daughters, and a
brown dog that keep her quite busy.
Allyson Jones - Licensed Acupuncturist
Allyson has over 10 years experience inthe health care field as a licensed
acupuncturist and social worker. She earned her Master of Social Work from the
University of Maryland and her Master of Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture
Institute, where she continues to serve on the faculty. She is National Board
Certified in Acupuncture. In addition to her acupuncture practice, Allyson
facilitates wellness workshops for local businesses and community groups,
bringing ancient healing wisdom into the modern world.
Allyson and Laura contine to work and study with prominent figures in Chinese medicine.
They are members of the Doctors' Speakers Bureau, a non-profit organization
providing free seminars to the public on complementary medicine.
